Not more socks

I have been bitten by the sock bug.

A pair of bright pink socks (previously mentioned in ANCIENT Azalea) have been finished for the 2 1/2 yr old grandaughter and I am half finished on the second sock of a pair for the 4 yr old grandaughter in light pink and cream.

Next will be a pair in brown (and maybe cream) for the 8 yr old grandson.

Then possibly I may get a pair done for myself. I have a nice tan wool blend earmarked for them but something else may get in the way.

Let's see. The black cotton blend crochet shawl for an order at the shop that Katt and I knit for may get in the way as it's almost finished.

The next thing that could get in the way is a cardigan that I'm knitting for myself in Panda Spark Plug acrylic as I have almost finished the back.

Or my Friendship Quilt may get in the way as it needs to be finished. This is a quilt that is made up of calico squares worked by 12 different ladies in whatever handcraft they prefer eg. applique, embroidery, cross stitch etc. After each lady has worked 12 squares they are shared out so each lady has 12 squares worked by 12 different ladies and she puts them together however she wants. Mine will be a quilt but one has been made into a tablecloth. It will be interesting to see how they all turn out.

I will eventually get all of these projects finished but in what order I don't know.

Until next time keep on knitting.

At last

I have finally got my Blog up and running with the help of the fabulous darkside of knitting hostess with the mostess Suzi.
This blogging will take a bit of getting used to but I suppose everyone has started somewhere so you all know what I am going through.

On the knitting front I am at the moment making a pair of child's socks with ANCIENT Azalea by Patons which is equivalent to a 2 ply.

I also have an adults cardigan on the go for myself (finally) as well as about another 10 or more projects waiting to be finished.

As you may guess I have a bad problem with startitis but mostly everything eventually gets finished.

Until next time keep on knitting.
