Water, water everywhere!!!!!

As the title suggests we have had floods in the local area.

Launceston and the North of Tasmania has had 2 days of torrential rain. Yesterdays newspaper said 94.8mm in 36 hours.

There has been a lot of road closures and quite a bit of property damage in Launceston and the surrounding areas.

Yesterday we went for a look at the Cataract Gorge which was in flood. The swimming pool was flooded and dirty brown water was crashing down the river. DH took some photo's so will have to post some when he's downloaded them.

On the knitting front I only need to sew the sleeves into Miss 3's cardigan and make the buttons but I've been naughty and started a small cross stitch.

I've also been doing a bit of reading up for my Tafe course and also checking out some of the on line stuff that's relevant.

Until next time keep on knitting.

  • Cathy, unfortunately you can't stop the spammers if they are blogger users but you can go and remove their comments so that their stupid wares aren't being peddled. Go into post a comment and click on rubbish tin and that will remove it forever :)
